The CheckEye leadership team continues to work in the Ukraine and developed an MVP. We are conducting a full-scale screening of patients with diabetes in the Chernivtsi region of Ukraine in the second half of 2022, in partnership with the Ukrainian Diabetic Federation. We expect to finish clinical trials at Q4 2022 – Q1 2023.

Our solution enables AI-based early diseases diagnosis in the rural areas, areas where hospital destroyed due to the war, and can compensate lack of professional doctors or infrastructure.

Diagnosis made from fundus photographic images using a machine learning/artificial intelligence (ML/AI) algorithm. Photos can be taken anywhere, from opticians to pharmacies, by non-medical or junior staff using a standard fundus camera. The photo from the camera is uploaded to the CheckEye system in the cloud. In a few seconds, a patient receives a diagnosis. It makes mass screening possible, and early detection and prevention of desiases easily accessible to everyone. Up to date CheckEye achieved 84% accuracy of diabetic retinopathy (DR) diagnosis which is better than average for humans.

Our business model provides two possible options:
• Subscription based for screening and additional services
• Revenue sharing with screening points
For clinics we will generate prequalified leads for fee. So, they need to focus only on treatment but not on the routine procedures
