The growth of the taxi market in Ukraine in annual terms in large cities of the country is plus 12-15%. More than $ 1.4 billion, 220 thousand drivers involved in transportation and 280 million trips a year - this is how the Office for Effective Regulation (BRDO) estimated the taxi market three years ago. Today, its volume has already reached more than $ 2 billion - these are the data of the Ukrainian Taxi Association.

In 2019, the Ukrainian food delivery market will increase by 14% compared to the previous year and reach $ 26 million. According to the estimates of the research company Statista, the number of consumers of this type of service in Ukraine will reach 1.5 million. This is 13% more than at the end 2018 year.
In delivery the main market segment is the delivery of dishes from restaurants, which analysts estimated at $ 21 at the end of 2019. The rest of the income comes from platforms - Glovo, Uber Eats, Raketa.

According to Statista forecasts, by 2023 the Ukrainian food delivery market will grow to $ 35 million, of which delivery from restaurants will provide $ 23.6 million, and online platforms - $ 11.5 million.

The industry is expected to grow even more rapidly in Europe and will reach $ 24.7 billion by 2023. Uber Eats estimates that 70% of restaurants on this platform will generate an increasing share of revenues from food delivery.
The world's largest food delivery market is in China. Statista estimated it at $ 40 billion. In second place is the United States ($ 22 billion). This is followed by India ($ 7.7 billion), the United Kingdom ($ 4.8 billion) and Japan ($ 2.5 billion).

In Ukrainian delivery the main market segment is the delivery of dishes from restaurants. The main players are: Glovo, Uber Eats and Raketa . Glovo is a leadeer of the segment market. The food delivery market in Ukraine is not at the stage of development at which all players are fighting for market share. It does not stagnate, it is not stable, the market is only in its infancy, it is very small.
