- Almost $100B was spent on pets only in the US in 2020, and the market is growing up to 4-5% each year. - In our focus dogs and cats owners (~180M) - Target age group - 25-44 (female 67%, male - 33%)
Problem or Opportunity
Millions of pets are getting lost every year. It's difficult to find a pet without a visual tag in the US. Pet owners are taking care to prevent the loss of a pet. Usually, they use two types of identifiers: ISO microchips and visual tags with contact information. The other opportunity is that pet owners don't want to have many APP to manage the safety and health of their pets (diary, reminders, records, docs), communicate with other pet owners or veterinarians, buy products and services.
Solution (product or service)
We created a digital pet ID in the APP that can be connected with any type of widely used identifiers. We spread QR code ID Tags on the market that can be personalized and give additional features to pet owners in the APP: to track records, documents, reminders, etc. In the next step, we are going to add the possibility for users to manage all their purchases of products for pets and to communicate with others inside the platform.
