Idea

We would like to attract an investor - a financial partner in the business to buy the premises in which our kindergarten operates, in order to increase the profitability of the business and reduce the risks of dependence on the landlord.

Current Status

The project is a modern private kindergarten in Holosiivskyi district of Kiev.

The kindergarten operates for 7 years and is part of a network of 15 innovative kindergartens and schools in Kiev, Kharkov, Odessa and Dnepr. Mode of operation: 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Designed for 30-60 children, the average occupancy rate of 60-90%.

We also sell our business franchise in Ukraine and plan to enter international markets.

Market

Target market: pre-school educational institutions.

Client segment: parents of children aged 1.5 to 7 years.

Target client portrait:
a family with an average and upper middle income, aged 25 to 45, with one or more children in the family, one or both working parents with higher education, for whom the personal comfort and development of the child, pedagogical approach and the level of kindergarten services are important, based on respect for and care for the child.

Available market:
As of 02'2021 in the Goloseevsky district of Kiev, where our kindergarten is located, 7'241 applications for admission to the kindergarten in the 2021/2022 academic year were officially registered. In total, there are 52 communal and 39 private kindergartens in the Goloseevsky district, which physically cannot meet the current market demand.

The need for vacant places and new kindergartens is growing - more than 32,000 children are born in Kiev every year. In addition, more than 200 thousand nonresident labor migrants aged 24 to 34 live in Kiev, for most of whom the issue of kindergarten for a child is also relevant.

Problem or Opportunity

The problem is an acute shortage of kindergartens in the capital:

- according to the Department of Education and Science, Youth and Sports of the Kiev City State Administration, in all districts of Kiev, without exception, preschool educational institutions are overcrowded by 23%;
- today the queue for kindergartens is scheduled for several years ahead. And, despite the legislation, there are 35-40 children in groups of municipal kindergartens;
- 34 thousand children do not go to kindergartens because there were no places for them. Such data were provided by ex-Minister of Education Anna Novosad in 2020.

The solution to the problem of shortage and quality of kindergartens in Kiev is a modern private kindergarten.

For 16 years we have been working in the field of preschool and school education. Our kindergarten has been operating for 7 years. We know the market and the needs of our customers, we love children, we keep up with the times and modern education standards.

Our team consists of highly qualified trendsetters, teachers, tutors and mentors with international experience.

Our kindergarten uses progressive world programs and methods of upbringing, development and teaching children:
- according to the Montesori system;
- Science Technology Engineering Arts Mathematics;
- development of leadership qualities according to Stephen Covey and other methods,
- personalized training;
- developmental and creative studios, sports sections, language classes, child psychologist / speech therapist / massage therapist, children's birthdays, etc.

We work with children from toddlers to first graders 365 days a year. Parents have the opportunity to choose a convenient visiting schedule: full or part-time, weekend groups, a playroom, a children's development club.

We have a full 5 meals a day healthy food. All furniture is made of environmentally friendly materials, exclusively organic hygiene products and household products, an air purification and ionization system is installed, humidifiers, vacuum cleaners with an aquafilter and a separator are used. The territory of our kindergarten is under round-the-clock security and video surveillance.

We surround each child with love and care - children go to our kindergarten with pleasure, and parents are calm for their kids.

Yes, our business has competitors and existing alternatives. Our area has 52 communal and 38 private kindergartens, but these are not enough to meet the needs of the target market.

In turn, our kindergarten is one of the leaders in the field of preschool educational institutions due to the high standards of education, the quality of the services provided and the presence of an adjacent territory for games.

Advantages or differentiators

High quality of services -> trust -> recognition:

1) more than 16 years of experience in the field of preschool and school education;

Finance

Basic income: a monthly subscription fee for visiting a kindergarten, amounting to the equivalent of $350 - $550, taking into account the type and number of sections attended by the kid.

- periodic payments for visiting a weekend group, a child development club,
- one-time payments for visiting the playroom, children's birthdays, specialist advice (child psychologist, speech therapist, massage therapist), etc.

Business model: B2C sales to parents of children from 1.5 to 7 years old.
